One great thing about planning your holiday in Cyprus is that you never have to be concerned about which season you go in. The reason is because most of the time, you can always be in the sunshine. That is definitely one advantage of the location of Cyprus. There are also places in Cyprus which have colder temperature, but it just creates other options of activities. So whatever activities you like or whenever it is, it does not matter.
During the summer the most favourite destination is definitely the beach remember to bring your sun cream with you as the temperature can be up to 40 degrees Celsius. Most supermarkets and kiosk however do sell lots of different brands of suncream. You can also go to different points of attractions like the museums and archaeological sites. As Cyprus is full of historical and mythological stories, you have a wide selection of places you can visit.
In the fall season, the temperature does not usually differ to the summer apart from a cooler breeze especially in the evenings. Also, in this season you can enjoy some festivals that are held in various places in Cyprus, making it a fantastic cultural experience.
During the winter, don’t expect the snow too much because it will mostly be rain. Of course there are few places that have snow, like the Troodos Mountains, it has been knows to ski on the Troodos and then on the same day come down towards the South and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon.
Spring is everyone’s favourite season. Starting in January, the orchids are starting to bloom and the orange and lemon trees start to blossom. If you go to Cyprus in February and March the grass is green and the Cypriot flowers are colourful with a gorgeous scent.
